The Catholic Student Association (CSA) is sponsored by the Office of Campus Ministry under the asupices of the Catholic Diocese of Charleston. CSA is a registered faith based student organization at the College of Charleston with representation on the CofC Religious Life Council. All students who register at a Sunday Mass or CSA event, all campus Catholics, and all who desire to join are considered members of CSA. CofC CSA is among twenty plus colleges / universities across the state with an official Catholic presence. CofC CSA follows the USCCB college guidelines for ministry in Empowered by the Spirit. CofC CSA is affiliated with the USCCB national college student coalition NCSC

St. Patrick Catholic Parish serves as the students' 'home away from home' parish. The community welcomes students to all of their activities and services and provides several fellowship meals for them each year.
